Find Out What’s Waiting For You

Part of the healing process is putting ourselves out there. Expressing ourselves to the world can be a scary thing to those of us who have been trapped in cycles of abuse and trauma. After we have put in a considerable amount of effort on healing ourselves, i.e. recognizing red flags, staying away from red flags, learning how to make and hold healthy boundaries, learning how to recognize your own negative traits and then work to change them, making an effort to put yourself in the company of healthy relationships, etc., this is the time when we can begin to feel secure enough in ourselves to really begin to come out of our shells. When we put forth a persistent and continuous amount of energy and dedication to our healing, it rewards us with self-confidence and self-love.

Try to make sure not to waste the beneficial effects of all that work. We must learn to put ourselves out there at this point. Every person that works to heal themselves in this way is a rare person. Let the world benefit from your journey. Share all that you’ve gained. In the way that you learned from others and they helped to heal you, now it’s your turn to be that for someone else.
