Who Is Getting You Riled Up And Why?

When someone spreads a lie to you about someone, and then, after they are sure you are in an emotional state, make “suggestions” as to what you can do about it, do you get sucked up into their drama? Do you act on their “advice”? Or do you stop and think it through? Do you take time to regulate your nervous system which calms your emotions, by doing breath work, somatic exercises or physical exercise? These things bring you out of your spinning thoughts, and back into your body where your thoughts and your emotional state can slow down. Do you approach it with a calm and detached mind? Because let me tell you, they are counting on you to not have a calm mind. They are counting on you to be very emotional and caught up in their drama. They are counting on you to act from your Inner Teenager and to lash out at the person they are spreading lies about. Please think before you act. If something did happen, then, once again, think before you act. Understand what is real, and who is behaving in over the top ways. Usually, the person who is spreading lies to you and making you very upset is the person who is convincing you that the other person is the one that is over the top. This is not true. Step back and take a look at the person who is pushing all your buttons and drawing you into their chaos.

Does someone need to be reeled in? Who needs to get involved? What is the core issue of why there is drama in the first place? Look at it from each person‘s point of view before you decide to take action against someone you know nothing about other than what someone else told you. Please don’t self sabotage your own life to help someone else be successful in their desire to hurt another.
